 Anyone who willfully joins or establishes such an assembly is said to be a member of an unlawful assembly and he shall be liable to imprisonment which may extend to 1 year or fine or with both.  Section  102of the Penal code. 


    Anyone who goes armed being a member of an unlawful assembly with a deadly weapon which is likely to cause death or deadly injury when used shall be punished with 2 years imprisonment or fine or with both. Section 103 of the penal code.


   Anyone who joins or continues to be a member of an unlawful assembly after such assembly is commanded to disperse or seize to exist shall be punished with 5 years imprisonment or with fine or both. See section 104 of the penal code. It shall not be a defence for a persons to plead that he's not aware that the assembly has been commanded to disperse. "Ignorancia juris non excusat" ( Ignorance of the law is not an excuse).

     

    It is good to know that, whenever an offence is committed by a member of an unlawful assembly in the prosecution of the common purpose of establishing such assembly, every member as at the time of the commission of the crime shall be held liable of the offence in a manner as if he's the one who actually commits the crime. (Probable consequence of an unwilful act.)

   The liability of being a member of an unlawful assembly is very wide and strict, avoid being a member and distance yourself from people who are one.
